HODARI Foundation is thrilled to announce a new partnership with African Youth Action Network (AYAN) in 2025. With AYAN’s support, HF will implement a year-long project titled “DiscoverMe” in Kyaka II Refugee Settlement. This initiative aims to cultivate self-awareness and confidence in refugee children.

“DiscoverMe” will also engage elders, fostering intergenerational connections. Through these interactions, children will learn about their historical background, including cultural traditions and moral values.
We extend our sincere gratitude to AYAN for their belief in our vision and for providing the resources and a safe environment that will enable us to implement this project within the Kyaka II Refugee Settlement community.
We look forward to achieving our target outcomes, such as providing healthcare, education, adequate living standards, safe spaces for leisure and play to unaccompanied minors and other marginalized children, and gaining valuable learnings for future scalability.
